Plastic Shed Condensation Problem

Metal shed condensation is the same essential problem as condensation in any other enclosed area, namely: moisture gets trapped inside the shed and (due to a slight temperature difference which always exists between the inside and outside of a shed – i.e., the inside being slightly warmer) the moisture will begin a process of evaporation. My keter plastic shed is soaking wet inside. everything in it is now only fit for the tip. its built up on a timber base with damp course layer in between the base and the shed.. I have a shed with a corrugated plastic roof. i get absurd amounts of water condensing under it, which drips onto the contents of the shed. is there a way (without spending a fortune) to stop this or to collect the water in some way?.

Metal sheds are a fantastic alternative to having a wooden shed. they enable you to overcome many of the maintenance problems that you often encounter with timber structures. however as we’re all aware metal sheds themselves can suffer from condensation problems.. Condensation can be a problem with plastic and vinyl sheds so look for a model with some form of ventilation system, usually screened grilles, that allows the free flow of air. this will keep your stored items free from damp.. Hi all, i have a keter plastic shed which i find a very good product. the only issue is one of condensation. i am thinking of insulating on the inside with polystyrene type insulating but would appreciate any help / info on doing this and how it shold be done..
